Anthony Lamberto
Anthony Lamberto is a fourth year Health Science major on the Pre-Med track. Outside of AMSA he is an undergraduate teaching assistant for Organic Chemistry 2 with Dr. Portmess, a volunteer at Shands with an organization called Streetlight, and an undergraduate research volunteer and the Cancer and Genetics Research Complex in Dr. John Licht’s lab. He is excited for the year ahead and is looking forward to leading such an incredible organization!

Varun Kanneganti
Varun Kanneganti is a senior majoring in microbiology on a pre med track. Aside from being involved in AMSA, Varun is also the Director of Workshops for the Center of Undergraduate Research Board of Students here at UF. He is passionate about his research in Dr. Elias Sayour’s mRNA engineering lab which is focused on cancer and immunotherapy. Outside of school Varun loves cooking new recipes, watching movies and spending time with his friends!

Yan Ludwig
Yan Ludwig is a 4th year Biology student with the goal of becoming a physician. He volunteers with Footprints, founded Florida Formula One, and conducts research on Sanfilippo syndrome with one publication pending. He loves this organization and will continue to work to improve all of AMSA's communications both inter and intra-organizational.

Shemsi Keyhani
Shemsi is an Applied Physiology and Kinesiology major in the UF honors program on the pre-medical track. She is currently volunteering as a CNA at Helping Hands Clinic, a Patient Escort at Bread and Roses, and an undergraduate teaching assistant for Chemistry 1 and 2. Shemsi is currently doing research on muscle fatigue as it relates to tremors. She loves to be with her friends and family, cook, and practice yoga.

Alexis Araune
Alexis Araune is a third year Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience Major on the Pre-Medical track. Her involvements outside of AMSA include being External Vice President for UF’s Passionate Musicians on Call, a PSY2012 TA, a Shands Child Life volunteer, a member of Alpha Epsilon Delta and an undergraduate assistant in the Center for Translational Research in Neurodegenerative Disease. In her free time, she enjoys Just Dance, making music and paint-by-numbers.
